I listen to UCB on...

Ever consider becoming a radio presenter or producer? We are currently looking for a few new voices here at UCB Ireland Radio. So, if you live conveniently to our studios here in Dublin and have a few hours to give us every week, we'd love to hear from you. If you are interested in presenting a program, doing continuity announcing, or helping voice our promos and announcements, then you should have a clear speaking voice and be capable of script reading in a natural and non-read sounding style. If you'd like to assist in our programme production you should be computer literate and familiar with the internet. Interested but a little nervous? Well don't be. We will give you a thorough training. All we ask of you is a willingness to commit to us, commit to excellence and to have a heart for Jesus, Christian radio and music.

If you are interested in talking with us, then please give Vincent Hughes a call on 01 4299899 or email a little about yourself to  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Make A Stand!

We live in a new time.
It's the time of "self".
So much of the unrest and disillusionment we see today is as a result of people being focused on "self".  Can I get rich?  Can I get ahead?  Can I get noticed?  It's culminated in a culture whereby everything is more than a bit broken.
1 Corinthians 12:12 - For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.  13 For kin one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and mall were made to drink of one Spirit.
Jesus encourages "unity in the Church" as Paul puts it in his first letter to the church in Corinth.
That takes community.
That takes togetherness.
That takes helping one another.
That takes supporting one another.
That takes, sometimes, sacrificing for one another  - giving to one another and encouraging one another.
That's what we try to be all about here at UCB Ireland.
We encourage you to listen to our station, and we'd love to know if you've been uplifted by what you hear.
We'd also love for you to have a copy of the Word of Today.  You can read it here, or you can have a copy sent to you by giving us a call on 01-429 9899.
We'd also love to simply hear from you, and can e-mail us at
Be different and push each other on.

Tell Someone.

Tell someone.
Matthew 28: 18-20:
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
The essence of Jesus' command as He leaves his disciples is that they must go and tell.  Everyone needs to know who He is and what the disciples have seen.  They've been changed.  They are free.  Others need to know.
The most important story we can tell someone is the story of Jesus Christ.  Here at UCB Ireland, we want to tell that story.  We trust that you have heard it through our music and programming, and we'd love you to use UCB Ireland to tell others about Jesus.
We also trust that you see it through the Word for Today.
Tell someone about us.  Go on.
You can listen on well as here or here.
If you've been encouraged, or even changed by what you have heard on UCB Ireland, most importantly, tell someone your story.  We'd love to also think, though, that you'd let them know about our work.
If you have a testimony you'd like to share, please do This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it  us too.  We'd love to hear your story.
Do it!  People aren't going to find out without you!
